Baroque Kaleidoscope, Mosaic Abstract Portrait

This piece was inspired by a piece of art I saw when we traveled to Spain.

I thought she was definitely a spaniard with thick black hair.  I made her very colorful during the process of creating, taking several breaks to clear my mind and choose the correct color/s for each section of the piece.

I have used Italian and Mexican Smalti, glass tessera/tile pieces, art glass, large bold glass chunks, custom glass from Bonin Glass and Filati & Millefiori from Italy.

The piece is 14" x 18" unframed.  It is available for framing for a reasonable additional charge, $40.00 per square foot.
