LOVE IS LOVE I, oil painting

Well it’s true, the mood of the artist shows in their work. 

When I started this painting I was going to paint some subtle flowers, gently growing out of the ground. 

as it happens I’m frustrated and saddened by a recent tragic death.  In a fit of extreme frustration I smeared the work and went to bed. 

Returning to the work this morning … this is what came out.   I loved my best friend with a passion, I trusted her, she was my inspiration and my heart.  Love is love does mean many things to me and right now it means A LOVE YOU ONLY EXPERIENCE ONCE.
